Adult Fluoride Rinse

Prevident 500 Boost (Rx Toothpaste)
Patients who show a proclivity for tooth decay, as well as those with exposed tooth roots or crown and bridge margins, dry mouth, diabetes, and those who wear partial dentures or orthodontic bands, may benefit from this neutral fluoride toothpaste. It is safe for patients with porcelain restorations, as well.

Periomed (Rinse)
This stannous fluoride rinse prevents decay and eradicates periodontal-disease causing bacteria. Patients with periodontal problems, a proclivity for tooth decay, root exposure, a buildup of plaque, dry mouth, exposed crown and bridge margins, diabetes, and those who are undergoing radiation and chemotherapy or those who wear partial dentures and orthodontic bands may benefit from this product.

MI Paste (Toothpaste)
An active calcium phosphate toothpaste, this product helps with decalcification. People who drink beverages with a high acid content and those with tooth sensitivity often benefit from MI Paste because it can increase the absorption of fluoride by four times.

Perioguard (Rx Rinse)
A chlorhexidine rinse like Perioguard has antimicrobial qualities that work well for treating gingivitis and gingival bleeding.

CloSys
 This chlorine dioxide rinse helps patients overcome bad breath (halitosis). The alcohol-free rinse has antimicrobial properties and works well for patients with canker sores.

Biotene
 For patients who are taking medications, undergoing radiation, or from diabetes, Biotene helps to alleviate dry mouth.
