Dr. Incampo may recommend oral surgery for gum disease, biopsies, crown lengthening, or other soft-tissue procedures.

Extraction may be required to remove irreparably damaged teeth or prepare for replacement teeth, such as dental implants or dentures. Adequate jawbone structure is required for implants. Often, the upper jaw near the sinuses isn't thick enough to support a dental implant. In some cases, teeth must be extracted before dental implants or dentures can be placed. The gum line above missing teeth may recede and inhibit proper fit of replacement teeth. All of these issues can be resolved by Dr. Incampo so that you can receive the replacement teeth you need on a solid foundation.

Dr. Incampo will perform your oral surgery or extraction with the utmost care and attention to detail. If you're a fearful patient, he may suggest oral sedation to calm your nerves and promote relaxation.
